Philosophy
Most actors are never taught how to read a play. Instead, they simply feel their way through it — chasing emotion and hoping the meaning follows.

At AMB, we invert that. We begin with the text. Every choice, every impulse, every moment of genuine performance is built outward from a rigorous analysis of what is actually on the page.

This is not an approach for actors looking for a low-pressure environment. The work is demanding by design. So are the careers it prepares you for.
The text knows
more than you do.
Text Analysis
& Scene Work
Rigorous script analysis and scene work built directly from the text outward. Structure, language, subtext, given circumstances, action. You leave with a method and a practice — not just an experience.
8 SESSIONS · 3 HOURS EACH · 4-8 STUDENTS · $475
The Actor Craft
Craft is the delivery system for the mind and the heart. You will learn the techniques that make manifest the imagination and reveal the text. This is one of the essential pillars of acting that is rarely taught, but crucial to have in your toolbox.
